Most of our projects offer time periods of 14 to 90 days or entire duration of project. Below is an example of how your funding is distributed and utilsed. The example is based on a 14 day time period at our average cost in South African Rands (R). 

14 Days = R2950

R2360 to the Project (80%)

Utilised for accommodation, food, transport, petrol, guide remuneration, vehicle costs, any special equipment and field-staff remuneration.

R590 to the African Conservation Trust (20%)

Utilised for transport other than at the site, administration costs,  marketing cost and accrual to the trust fund.

Should a project be over-funded (i.e. income from volunteers exceeds the project budget) the surplus will go into the trust fund. These surplus funds will be used to fund other projects that have been under-funded or initialise new projects.
